LSU Football: Joe Burrow’s swagger is undefeated
By Zach Ragan
LSU football’s Joe Burrow is ready to take the NFL by storm.
Former LSU football quarterback Joe Burrow has more confidence and swagger than anyone else in the 2020 NFL Draft.
It’s nothing new. Burrow has always been this way. Even when he left Ohio State and barely anyone in the country knew who he was.
Burrow recently told Adam Lefkoe of Bleacher Report that when he was transferring from the Buckeyes, most programs, including Alabama, only wanted to offer him a spot as a third string quarterback.
The response from Burrow?
“You must not know about me yet.”
Imagine the confidence you have to posses to have that kind of swagger.
At the time, Burrow had accomplished basically nothing at the collegiate level. In three years at Ohio State (including one redshirt season), Burrow had passed for less than 300 total yards.
Burrow, however, never lost confidence in himself. He believed in his talent. All he wanted was a chance to shine.
And that’s what he got at LSU. Burrow battled for the job, won it, and the rest is history.
Burrow’s confidence is one of the main reasons he’s going to be incredibly successful in the NFL. Sure, he has the tools and talent to be great. But a lot of quarterbacks are just as physically talented (some, in fact, are more physically gifted). Burrow, however, has the attitude to thrive in the NFL.
There’s no rattling Burrow. There’s no getting in his head. He wants to win and and he knows he’s going to win.
I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a quarterback with more of a killer instinct than Joe Burrow.
