5 most important players for LSU football in 2020

LSU football lost a lot of talent to the NFL after winning the 2019 national championship.

It’s extremely unlikely that LSU football will run the table and go 15-0 again in 2020.

But while I don’t expect the Tigers to replicate their magical 2019 season, I still think they’re a threat to win the SEC West again. And they could certainly end up reaching the College Football Playoff for a second straight year.

LSU lost a lot of talent from their national championship team, but fortunately for the Tigers, the cupboard is far from bare. Repeating as national champions isn’t out of the question for LSU.

But for the Tigers to have a chance to repeat as national champions, there are five specific players that will be extremely important for LSU in 2020.

Here are those five players and why they’re so important.
