Chasen Hines — Center

No one touches the ball in any given game more than a team’s center.

That alone makes it one of the most important positions on the field.

But it’s not just snapping the ball that’s important. Making protection calls, directing the offensive line, those are all things that are incredibly important during the course of a game.

And not just anyone can do it.

With Lloyd Cushenberry off to the NFL, it will be up to Chasen Hines — assuming he wins the job — to take control of LSU’s offensive line.

It’s not a glamorous position, but there aren’t many positions more important on the football field than a center.
