4. Bregman uses his platform to spread positivity

Bregman is known for his brash confidence and swagger. Sometimes it rubs people the wrong way. It’s understandable why he’s viewed as a “villain” by some opposing fan bases.

But what a lot of people don’t realize is that Bregman is one of the best dudes in baseball. And he proved it in early 2019 with a simple gesture.

Bregman replied to a tweet from the Flatground Hitting Twitter account, complimenting a nine year old named Jax on his swing.

Jax’s dad replied that he was “running around the house screaming” when he saw Bregman’s tweet.

Bregman then offered to hit with Jax.

Unfortunately, Jax didn’t live in Florida (Bregman was in Florida for spring training at the time). But this moment still showed that Bregman is ultimately just a guy who loves baseball and loves encouraging others.

This might not have been an on-the-field moment, but it was still one of the coolest things I’ve seen from Bregman during his MLB career.
