3. World series grand slam in game 4 against Nationals

In game three of the 2019 World Series, the Washington Nationals intentionally walked Michael Brantley to load the bases to get to Bregman.

That seems unthinkable. But through the first three games of the World Series, Bregman was hitting .077. It was the right move by the Nationals. And it paid off. Fernando Rodney got Bregman to ground out.

Bregman, however, thrives off being disrespected. And he made the Nationals pay in game four.

With the Astros leading 4-1 in the seventh inning, Bregman put the game out of reach with a perfectly timed grand slam.

The Astros evened the series at two games apiece thanks to Bregman’s home run. Houston would go on to lose the World Series in seven games, but Bregman’s grand slam was still one of the most memorable moments of the postseason for the Astros.

Bonus:

Who can forget Bregman carrying the bat to first base in game six after he went deep?

The Astros lost game six, and Juan Soto returned the favor by also carrying his bat to first base, but no one will ever forget that World Series moment.
