Top 5 uniform combinations in the SEC

3. Florida Gators — Blue tops, blue pants

As you can probably tell, I’m a fan of certain programs using same colored tops and pants.

Florida is one of those programs.

One of the great things about the SEC is the distinct difference in color combinations for most of the programs. When you look at Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Tennessee and South Carolina, you have seven very different color combinations that complement each other well on the field.

Florida’s blue, orange and white is an extremely unique color combination in the SEC and the all blue features those colors in a perfect way.

A couple of times in the past, Florida has worn all blue uniforms with white helmets. I think that’s a good look, but I prefer this combination with the Gators’ classic orange helmets. I think it’s a nice contrast to the all blue (which features orange trim) and it allows the orange to be a signifiant part of the uniform.
