Jabril Cox — Linebacker — Senior

Landing Jabril Cox was a massive get for the Tigers this offseason. Cox comes from North Dakota State where he proved to be one of the best linebackers in the nation.

With the loss of Patrick Queen and Jacob Phillips, LSU obviously needed the help at linebacker. This is a match that will help both parties immensely. It will help the Tigers’ linebacker group not miss a beat in 2020, while also allowing Cox to significantly raise his draft stock.

Will Cox be a first round pick? That’s hard to say. The competition is a lot tougher in the SEC. But if he puts up the type of numbers he did at North Dakota State, then I could certainly see Cox sneaking into the end of the first round.

Cox is going to be a player that NFL teams are closely monitoring this season.
