LSU football will be hoping to successfully defend their national championship in 2020.

Despite winning the national championship in 2019 (in dominating fashion nonetheless), the expectations aren’t extremely high for LSU football in 2020.

Thanks to a mass exodus of talent from Baton Rouge after the season, the Tigers aren’t even the favorites to win the SEC West in 2020.

But maybe that’s a good thing for LSU.

No one was expecting Ed Orgeron and the Tigers to take the college football world by storm last season. And no one is expecting that to happen this upcoming season.

For now, it seems like analysts are “down” on LSU mostly because no one is sure how effective Myles Brennan will be as Joe Burrow’s replacement.

That’s understandable. Burrow was vital to the Tigers’ success last season. In fact, Coach O said this week that Burrow was more critical to LSU than he was.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding the Tigers (the offensive line is also major question mark), I still think LSU has the potential to repeat as SEC West division champs. And from there, anything is possible.

With that in mind, here are three not-so-crazy predictions for LSU that I think have a legitimate chance of happening.
