LSU football has its eyes on numerous elite 2021 recruits.

Recently, I mentioned that LSU football is hoping to land an elite 2021 defensive line duo (Korey Foreman and Maason Smith).

That’s not the only 2021 duo the Tigers are hoping to land.

LSU is also pursuing an elite offensive line duo. And it’s a duo that could make a big difference in Baton Rouge.

LSU football could be the destination for a highly touted offensive line duo

2021 four-star offensive tackle Garrett Dellinger and four-star offensive guard Rocco Spindler are two of the nation’s top-rated 2021 offensive linemen.

Dellinger is rated as the No. 12 offensive tackle in the nation, while Spindler is rated as the No. 2 offensive guard in the nation (247Sports composite rankings).

The duo, who play together at Clarkston High School in Michigan, are “best friends” according to Rivals.

Dellinger is considered a heavy LSU lean. The dynamic offensive tackle is planning to commit on June 24 and most analysts expect that he’ll pledge to the Tigers (all seven of the 247Sports crystal ball predictions cast for Dellinger have him committing to LSU).

Spindler has yet to visit Baton Rouge, but he already sounds enamored with LSU.

I just truly love LSU. Coach O always talks about how great the food is down there and I love food. I love seafood,” said Spindler recently to Rivals.

The Michigan native added, “I definitely want to get down there for an official visit and understand the culture down in Louisiana”.

Spindler has visited Michigan, Notre Dame, Penn State, and Ohio State (those four programs, along with LSU, were in his recently released top five).

If Spindler is this high on LSU without visiting Baton Rouge, then imagine how high he’ll be on the Tigers after he finally gets to visit.

When you combine Spindler’s feelings on LSU and his close relationship with Dellinger, it almost seems like a foregone conclusion that the talented duo will be playing college football at LSU together.

Next. LSU has longterm replacement for Justin Jefferson. dark

Spindler doesn’t have a timetable for his decision. It certainly sounds like he’ll wait until he gets to visit Baton Rouge before announcing his commitment.
