Terrace Marshall Jr — WR — Junior

Ja’Marr Chase is the best wide receiver in the nation. He’s going to be the star of the show for LSU football in 2020.

But with Justin Jefferson off to the NFL, it means there’s a lot of production that has to be replaced (111 receptions to be exact).

Enter Terrace Marshall Jr.

It’s hard to believe that Marshall Jr was the Tigers’ third wide receiver in 2019. The Louisiana native caught 46 passes for 671 yards and 13 touchdowns. He was obviously a key part of the team, but those numbers pale in comparison to what Chase and Jefferson accomplished.

With Jefferson out of the mix, we should see Marshall more heavily involved in the offense.

So much so, in fact, that I think Marshall will probably play himself right off LSU’s roster. I could easily see Marshall having a big year and being in the conversation to be a first-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. He’s that good.

10 months from now, I think we’ll be discussing how LSU is the new “WRU” after having three wide receivers selected in the first round in two years.
