Myles Brennan — QB — Redshirt Junior

Myles Brennan hasn’t started a game at LSU yet and he’s already one of the most well-known football players in the state.

But outside of Louisiana?

There’s probably a lot of “Myles who?” and “who does LSU have now that the Burrow fella is gone?”

After 2020, however, I think those remarks will go from wondering who Brennan is to “that Brennan kid has a cannon down there in Baton Rouge”.

We already know that Ed Orgeron and Steve Ensminger love Brennan’s arm. And we know that he’s coming around as a leader, too.

When you combine the arm and the leadership with the offensive weapons that LSU has, it’s easy to envision a huge year from Brennan.

Do I expect it to be Burrow in 2019 big?

No, of course not.

Next. Why recruiting is so easy for LSU. dark

But I don’t think it’s crazy to suggest that Brennan could be the best quarterback in the SEC in 2020.
