LSU football wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase is going to be a special player in the NFL.

LSU football‘s Ja’Marr Chase is not only viewed as the best wide receiver in college football, he’s being viewed (by some analysts) as a potential Hall of Fame wide receiver.

Daniel Jeremiah, a draft analyst for NFL.com, recently discussed Chase and the outlook for his future NFL career.

And he couldn’t stop praising the LSU wide receiver.

Jeremiah compared Chase to former NFL wide receivers Anquan Boldin and Steve Smith, a duo that the analyst called future Hall of Famers.

“His (Chase) competitiveness and run-after-the-catch ability reminded me of guys like Steve Smith Sr. and Anquan Boldin,” wrote Jeremiah.

The NFL.com analyst added “In my opinion, Smith and Boldin are both future Hall of Famers…..Chase has that type of upside.”

Ja’Marr Chase has no weaknesses

The job of an NFL draft analyst is to scrutinize evrey aspect of a prospect’s game.

And Jeremiah is one of the best in the business.

So when I read Jeremiah’s scouting report on Chase, I was expecting to see a few criticisms.

There’s no such thing as a perfect draft prospect, right?

Well, apparently there is. And his name is Ja’Marr Chase.

“Chase is a complete wide receiver. The only blemishes on his tape are a couple drops on balls thrown to his back hip. That is easily correctable,” wrote Jeremiah (who said he watched every snap that Chase played in 2019).

“The SEC is littered with NFL-caliber defensive backs, and he got the best of almost every single one. His competitiveness is off-the-charts impressive,” added Jeremiah.

LSU fans should be extremely thankful they get one more season of Chase in Baton Rouge. It’s going to be fun watching him dominate SEC cornerbacks once again in 2020.
