Spend your Saturdays playing golf

I love playing golf. But I’m not very good at it.

It’s probably because I don’t actually get much time to play.

During the spring, I’m busy covering spring practice all the time. In the summer, when I have time, it’s usually way too hot to play.

The fall, however, would be the perfect time to play — especially on Saturdays when you could get a good foursome together.

But obviously I’m going to either be at a game or situated in front of a television watching football in the fall. As much as I enjoy golf and the idea of playing it in the fall, college football is always going to win out.

If there’s no college football this fall, I’ll suddenly have a lot of free time on the weekends. I mean, might as well hit the links, right?

I probably won’t improve any, but at least I’ll have some fun and find a way to pass the time until 2021 gets here (which hopefully brings positive sports news).
