Hit up a fall wedding

The worst phrase a college football fan can hear is “you’re invited to my fall wedding”.

We’ve all been there. You have to go. But you usually end up missing one of the biggest games of the year (somehow fall weddings always fall on Saturday with a stacked lineup of games).

The evening usually gets spent sneaking peeks at your phone, or maybe even trying to find a secluded spot at the reception to watch the game (while downing a few tasty cold beers, or whatever the bar happens to have).

But if there’s no college football, you could finally go to a fall wedding and experience what these unwitting couples think is so great about getting married in October (don’t they know that’s what April/May is for?!?!).

Of course, this fall would require social distancing, masking, and all the other proper precautions.

But if you have to go to one, this would be the year to do it (if there’s no college football…otherwise find a way to skip it).
