Former LSU football quarterback Joe Burrow has made quite an impression on his new teammates.

Former LSU football quarterback Joe Burrow is already different than most rookie quarterbacks.

Not many rookie quarterbacks show up to the NFL with a Heisman Trophy and 15-0 season on their resume.

But that’s what Burrow brings with him to the Cincinnati Bengals, the team that took the former Tigers standout with the No. 1 selection in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Burrow also brings an incredible amount of confidence and leadership ability to the Bengals.

The leadership ability is something that we heard about plenty during Burrow’s time at LSU (and leading up the draft).

It’s one thing to hear about it, though, and another to see it in action.

We’ve definitely seen it in action so far during Burrow’s time with the Bengals. And it led to quite a compliment from one of Burrow’s Cincinnati teammates.

Joe Burrow is impressing everyone

Bengals running back Joe Mixon, who recently signed a four year contract extension worth $48 million, is loving what he’s seeing from Burrow so far.

In fact, Mixon loves Burrow so much that he wants to finish his NFL career with the former LSU star.

“I really don’t think he’s your typical rookie. He’s definitely going to be a great guy here in this league for years to come, and I hope I can finish my career here with him,” said Mixon this week (via ESPN).

That’s incredibly high praise from Mixon. I mean, those two guys have never played a snap together in a game (and they won’t, until week one, thanks to no preseason) and Mixon already wants to finish his career with Burrow.

I guess Mixon has seen enough from Burrow over the last several months to know that he’s the real deal.

Next. Opting out was not an easy decision for Ja'Marr Chase. dark

Though to be fair, it’s not exactly a roll of the dice to suggest that Burrow is special.
