An LSU football commit is feeling good about the Tigers’ chances of running the table in 2020.

LSU football‘s 2020 season got off to a tough start with a loss to the Mississippi State Bulldogs in the season-opener.

It was undoubtedly a strange feeling for Tigers fans, who hadn’t watched LSU lose a game since the 2018 season.

While plenty of fans, and analysts, were concerned about the Tigers after the loss to Mississippi State, four-star LSU commit Raesjon Davis wasn’t worried at all.

In fact, Davis likes the Tigers’ chances to run the table this season.

LSU football commit Raesjon Davis makes bold prediction for Tigers

Davis, who committed to LSU on New Year’s Day, spoke to Rivals last week about LSU’s tough start to the season.

“It was a little hard watching them get torn up like that but they’re going to get back right and they’re going to get better,” said Davis.

“I know they just have a few wrinkles to work out so once everything gets settled down we’ll be great again.”

Davis’ prediction for the rest of the season?

He feels like LSU won’t lose again.

“We’re looking at a 9-1 season.”

You have to love the confidence from Davis, who is a borderline five-star recruit. It shows what kind of belief Davis has in Ed Orgeron and his staff.

However, I seriously doubt that Davis’ prediction will come true.

LSU has a tough schedule ahead. The games against Auburn and Texas A&M don’t look daunting at this point, but the matchups against Alabama and Florida will be tough.

I feel like 8-2 is the best case scenario for the Tigers, with 7-3 much more likely.

But with Coach O leading the charge, anything is possible.

Maybe Davis will be right after all.
