2022 three-star cornerback Jordan Allen has LSU football‘s eye, but he hasn’t received an offer yet from the Tigers.

Allen, a Louisiana native who is rated as a top 25 player in the state, has an impressive offer list.

According to 247Sports, Allen has received offers from Arkansas, Georgia, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State, and Virginia, among several others.

An offer from LSU, however, still hasn’t arrived.

LSU football is keeping an eye on Allen

Just because LSU hasn’t offered Allen yet doesn’t mean they won’t.

The 5-foot-11 defensive back recently spoke to Rivals about his recruitment and noted LSU is recruiting him, despite the fact they haven’t offered.

“I’m getting a lot of attention from LSU right now,” said Allen. “They’re saying: ‘We’re coming to get you’ and to ‘be patient.’ It means a lot coming from them.”

Allen also noted that Georgia and Miami are recruiting him hard as well.

“I have been liking Miami ever since I was a little kid and the coaches are very educated,” explained Allen. “Our relationships are tight.”

I imagine the Tigers are still evaluating how they’re going to use the available scholarships in the 2022 recruiting cycle. It’s clear they like Allen. And I would bet that an offer gets extended his way in the not-so-distant future.

dark. Next. LSU hoping to land in-state RB

LSU currently has eight players committed to its 2022 recruiting class (which is ranked No. 4 in the nation). Three of the committed players are cornerbacks, which is likely a big factor in why the Tigers haven’t offered Allen yet.

I still tend to believe, however, that Allen will eventually get that offer from Ed Orgeron and LSU.
