One of LSU football‘s top 2022 recruiting targets is four-star athlete Kendrick Law.

Law, 5-foot-11/185 lbs from Shreveport, LA (Captain Shreve), is ranked in 247Sports’ composite rankings as the No. 6 player in Louisiana and the No. 113 overall recruit.

The Louisiana native has offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida State, LSU, Notre Dame, and Texas, among many others.

Law is a player that could help LSU in a lot of ways.

LSU football could use Kenrick Law as an “x-factor”

There’s truly no telling what position Law will play at the next level, which is exactly why I think he could be such a great fit for the Tigers.

Law is a three-way player in high school, playing mostly wide receiver, safety, and special teams (kick returner).

That sort of versatility at an elite level is rare. Plenty of players play multiple ways in high school, but they almost always settle into a position once they get to college.

Law, however, could stick in all three positions at the next level (he can also line up at running back).

The talented athlete, who runs track in high school (100 meter and long jump), has elite speed, which is what makes him dangerous as a kicker returner.

I could see Law having a Percy Harvin-like impact for LSU. One of those players who can drive defenses absolutely bananas.

Is that putting too much pressure on Law?

Maybe.

But it’s rare to see a versatile athlete with his type of talent.

That rare skillset, combined with Law being an in-state player, makes him one of the most intriguing players in the 2022 recruiting class.

dark. Next. LSU commit elevated to 5-star status

Law is still uncommitted, but I believe he is LSU’s to lose. I would be surprised if he didn’t end up committing to the Tigers.
