2022 four-star wide receiver Aaron Anderson committed to LSU football in December, but that hasn’t stopped the New Orleans native from visiting other programs.

Anderson, 5-foot-10/185 lbs, is ranked in 247Sports’ composite rankings as the No. 24 wide receiver in the country and the No. 11 player in Louisiana.

The Edna Karr product has an official visit scheduled to Alabama this weekend.

Additionally, Anderson is planning to check out USC, Florida, Miami, and Florida State at some point this summer.

There’s no reason for LSU football fans to worry about losing Aaron Anderson

Just because Anderson is taking visits to other programs doesn’t mean he’s planning on decommitting from LSU.

Quite the opposite, actually.

Anderson recently discussed his recruitment with 247Sports. And it certainly sounds like he’s solidly committed to the Tigers.

“I’m solid; locked down. I’m just checking out other places to get the experience,” said Anderson.

Part of the reason Anderson is locked in with LSU is due to his relationship with the coaching staff. Anderson loves that Ed Orgeron and his staff care about more than just football when it comes to recruits.

“They all make sure you’re doing good off the field where it’s not just football, and that’s what I love about the staff,” explained Anderson.

Anderson, who runs track in high school, will bring plenty of speed to the Tigers. He ran a 11.23 in the 100 meter and a 22.77 in the 200 meter as a sophomore in high school.

LSU currently has 13 players committed to its 2022 recruiting class, which is ranked No. 2 in the SEC and No. 3 in the nation.
