LSU Football: Ed Orgeron has funny exchange with UCLA fan

LSU football head coach Ed Orgeron is truly one of a kind.

Orgeron, who is entering his fifth full season as the Tigers’ head coach, had a hilarious interaction with a fan prior to LSU’s matchup with the UCLA Bruins on Saturday.

(We assume, based on Orgeron’s comment, that it was a UCLA fan.)

And let’s just say that Orgeron’s reputation as one of the best personalities in college football is fully intact.

It appears that a fan was heckling Orgeron while he was walking into the stadium. The interaction seemed harmless enough at first, but then the fan said something that struck Coach O the wrong way.

And that’s when Orgeron let loose.

“Bring your ass on, in your sissy blue shirt,” said Orgeron to the fan.

I don’t think there’s a coach in college football more genuine or candid than Ed Orgeron.

Coach speak just isn’t something that Orgeron does. He is himself at all times.

Can you imagine Nick Saban or Dabo Swinney having that same exchange with a fan?

There’s no way that happens.

Orgeron, on the other hand, isn’t constantly concerned with how he’ll be portrayed in the media. He’s going to be himself no matter what.

That’s one of the main reasons that recruits are so attracted to Orgeron and LSU — they know exactly what they’re going to get when they arrive in Baton Rouge.

By the way, I’d love to see the reaction of that fan. I bet Orgeron’s response shut things down real quick.
