James Franklin — Penn State head coach

James Franklin is eventually going to leave Penn State. His name is mentioned nearly every offseason.

But where does he go?

Would Franklin, a Pennsylvania native, want to head to the west coast and take the USC job?

His big personality would certainly be a fit in Los Angeles.

Or would Franklin want to return to the SEC and go against the best teams in college football?

Franklin has led Penn State to three 11 win seasons since taking over as the Nittany Lions’ head coach in 2014. He also led Vanderbilt to two nine-win seasons, which is insane considering the current state of the Commodores.

I don’t think Franklin will be the Penn State head coach in 2022. It’s just a question of where he lands.
