LSU Football: 5 most likely options to replace Ed Orgeron as Tigers head coach

Steve Sarkisian — Texas head coach

I don’t think Sarkisian is leaving Texas. And I’m not sure he’d be a great fit at LSU.

But I have to put him down as a wildcard option because of his connection to Tigers athletic director Scott Woodward.

Woodward hired Sarkisian at Washington. And before the well-documented alcohol issues, Sarkisian was one of the hottest names in coaching.

I’d be shocked if Sarkisian ends up in Baton Rouge. But we’ll keep an eye on him simply because of the Woodward connection.
