LSU injury report vs Florida week 7

LSU football is dealing with an insane amount of injuries right now that has severely affected the program’s depth.

The Tigers will have more than 20 scholarship players sidelined this week against the Florida Gators.

Quarterback Myles Brennan is still out, leaving Max Johnson as the starter.

Star wide receiver Kayshon Boutte is out for the season after suffering a season-ending injury in LSU’s loss to the Kentucky Wildcats last weekend.

LSU’s defensive line has been hit particularly hard by the injury bug. Ali Gaye, Andre Anthony, Joseph Evans, Zavier Carter, Landon Jackson are all out this week against Florida.

The secondary is another area where the Tigers are extremely thin. Derek Stingley Jr, Eli Ricks, and Major Burns are all out this week.

LSU vs Florida odds and betting pick week 7

The latest odds from WynnBET have Florida at -11.5 (-105), while LSU is +11.5 (-115). The money line for the game has Florida at -470 and LSU at +370. The over/under for the game is set at 59.5 (-110).

I’m taking Florida to cover in this game. The Gators have issues of their own (they were exposed by Kentucky), but right now Florida has more depth. They also have the coaching advantage.

Plus, I doubt the crowd will be much of a factor in Baton Rouge on Saturday afternoon for an 11:00 AM CT kickoff.

I’m also going with the under in this game. I don’t see LSU’s offense putting up many points without Boutte on the field.
