LSU Football: Tigers head coaching search Hot Board 1.0

Numerous coaches have been mentioned in recent weeks that I think are unlikely for LSU.
Luke Fickell — Cincinnati head coach: Fickell will be a big target for USC, where he has a connection to the athletic director. But I think he’s happy at Cincy until the Notre Dame or Ohio State job opens.
Joe Brady — Carolina Panthers offensive coordinator: I’ve seen Brady’s name mentioned a lot. He will likely be an NFL head coach in 2022. There’s no reason for him to really even entertain this job.
Dabo Swinney — Clemson head coach: Dabo was mentioned this week by Bruce Feldman as a possibility for LSU, but that seems like a longshot. The only job I see Dabo leaving Clemson for is the Alabama job (where Swinney played in college).
Huge Freeze — Liberty head coach: Part of the reason Orgeron is out the door is because of his messy personal life. I can’t see LSU hiring someone with past “escort” issues like Freeze.
