To say that things haven’t gone well for LSU Football this season would be an understatement.

The Tigers were expected to compete for the SEC West this season, and possibly a spot in the College Football Playoff.

Instead, LSU is 4-4 with four games remaining. And their head coach, Ed Orgeron, has already been fired (he’s staying through the end of the season).

The Tigers are hoping to win at least two of their final four games to reach bowl eligibility while avoiding the program’s first losing season since 1999.

LSU’s matchup this week, however, doesn’t look promising. The Tigers are set to take on No. 3 Alabama in Tuscaloosa.

LSU vs Alabama Odds Week 10

The latest odds from WynnBet have Alabama as a -28 point favorite (-110). LSU is +28 (-110).

LSU is +1200 on the moneyline while Alabama is -3000. The over/under for the game is 65.5 (-110).

LSU vs Alabama Prediction Week 10

There’s definitely no way I’m taking LSU on the moneyline in this game. The Tigers simply aren’t playing anywhere near the level of Alabama right now.

However, I’m actually okay with taking LSU +28. Alabama is good. In fact, they’re probably the second best team in the country behind Georgia. But this isn’t the typical dominating Alabama team that we’re accustomed to seeing. The Crimson Tide’s defense isn’t as good as it’s been in the past.

LSU can score on Alabama. I could see the final score of this game being somewhere in the 38-21 range. Go with LSU +28 and take the under in this one (65.5 seems a bit high — only two of LSU’s games this season have had a combined total of points over 65.5).
