Nick Saban — Michigan State (1995-1999)

Nick Saban’s first few years at Michigan State were mediocre at best.

Saban went 6-5-1 in his first with the Spartans. Year two was 6-6, year three was 7-5 and year four was back to 6-6.

He MIGHT survive in the Big 10 right now with that record, but anywhere else, he’s fired.

Saban is the best college coach ever. In year five at Michigan State, he went 9-2.

In today’s world, Saban might be fired. He definitely doesn’t get the LSU job. And who knows what happens after that.
