LSU Game Saturday: LSU vs UL-Monroe odds and prediction for college football week 12 game
By Zach Ragan
LSU Football needs to win their final two games of the season to avoid the program’s first losing record since 1999.
The Tigers should get a win in week 12 against a severely outmatched Louisiana-Monroe squad.
Of course, as crazy as college football has been this season, nothing should be taken for granted. The 2021 season is essentially the second coming of the wild 2007 season (all we need is a Georgia loss to put the icing on the cake).
LSU and Louisiana-Monroe will kick off at 8:00 PM CT/9:00 PM ET on Saturday night in Baton Rouge.

LSU vs UL-Monroe prediction week 12
On paper, this game is a huge win for LSU.
But as we all know, games aren’t played on paper.
UL-Monroe is currently riding a three-game losing streak. But this is a team that has played well at times this season. The Warhawks beat a solid Liberty team in October. They also beat a South Alabama team that has a top 20 defense (South Alabama is ranked No. 16 in the nation in total defense).
You can’t mention those wins, however, without mentioning UL-Monroe’s 27-24 home loss this past weekend to a one win Arkansas State team. That loss shows how inconsistent UL-Monroe has been this season.
I think the Warhawks will play well on Saturday night. They’ll be amped up for a night game in Tiger Stadium. But ultimately, LSU’s talent will be too much for UL-Monroe to overcome.
LSU pulls away in the second half and covers the 29 point spread.
