LSU football will officially end the Ed Orgeron era on Saturday when the Tigers finish the regular season against the Texas A&M Aggies.
LSU enters the game with a 5-6 record. The Tigers are looking to avoid their first losing season since 1999. Beating Texas A&M, however, will be a tall task.
The Aggies have lost some games this season they shouldn’t have lost (mainly that Mississippi State game).
But they’re still the only team to beat Alabama this year.

The latest odds from WynnBET have Texas A&M as a -6.5 point favorite (-115) while LSU is +6.5 (-105). The Aggies are -255 on the moneyline, while the Tigers are +200. The over/under for the game is set at 45.5 (-110).

All logic has to go out the window with this game.
It’s Orgeron’s final game as LSU’s head coach. I think he’s going to have his team fired up to play in Tiger Stadium at night. I expect LSU’s energy to be extremely high all night. And I’m sure we’ll see an emotional Orgeron on the sideline, throwing every punch he has at the Aggies.
I’d honestly be surprised if LSU even punts in this game.
With that said, I still feel like the Aggies win this game. I just don’t think it will be a storybook ending for Orgeron and the Tigers.
However, I think it will be close. I don’t think Texas A&M covers. So I’m taking the Aggies on the moneyline and taking LSU +6.5.
I’m also taking the over in this game. A final score of 30-27 feels about right.
