The joke is on you if you’re laughing at new LSU football head coach Brian Kelly.
On Sunday night, Kelly went viral thanks to a video tweeted by 2022 five-star Tigers commit Walker Howard.

As of Monday morning, the video of Kelly “dancing” alongside Howard, a Louisiana native, has been viewed over 2 million times.
It didn’t take long for folks to start making fun of Kelly’s “dance moves” on social media.
Here are a few samplings.

Why is anyone making fun of LSU football head coach Brian Kelly???
I can understand Kelly going viral for the video that Howard tweeted — the dance moves aren’t that great.
But making of fun Kelly? For what, exactly? Most of us don’t have very good dance moves (I know I certainly don’t).
The tweet from Howard — the No. 5 rated quarterback in the 2022 recruiting class — is essentially an endorsement of Kelly as the head coach at LSU.
If you’re a fan of an opposing program and you’re making fun of Kelly for having some fun with one of the best high school football players in the nation, then I’m not sure you understand how recruiting works.
Kelly is an elite football coach. And he’s showing everyone that his personality goes beyond the stiff persona we often saw at Notre Dame. He’s letting loose and having some fun.
Going viral for a video tweeted by a five-star recruit is a great thing for Kelly and LSU.
Which means it’s bad for the rest of the SEC.
So go ahead, make fun of Kelly. He’ll be out landing five-star recruits while everyone makes their jokes on Twitter.
