Former LSU Football QB Joe Burrow had a wardrobe malfunction against the Chiefs
By Zach Ragan
Former LSU football quarterback Joe Burrow has been on fire lately.
Last week against the Baltimore Ravens, Burrow tossed for 525 yards and four touchdowns in the Cincinnati Bengals’ 41-21 win.
It was the fifth time this season that Burrow had passed for more than 300 yards. And the second time that he had passed for over 400 yards.
Burrow is showing why he was the No. 1 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. He’s only going to get better from here.
Those good vibes, however, weren’t enough to prevent the young phenom from suffering a wardrobe malfunction on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Joe Burrow’s wardrobe malfunction against the Chiefs
Burrow has been lighting up the Chiefs’ secondary on Sunday, while also looking like a throwback player.
The former Tigers quarterback had his nameplate ripped from his jersey by Chiefs defender Chris Jones.
Check it out.
And here’s some video:
This feels perfect. Burrow is such a throwback player. He’s ultra-competitive, doesn’t care about stats (even though he’s known for stuffing box scores), and has a reputation for making those around him better.
He’s the definition of a clock-in and go-to-work type football player. Plenty of other guys would probably be asking for a new jersey. But not Burrow — he’s just worried about beating the Chiefs.
By the way, Burrow is closing in on another 400-yard passing game.
Something tells me this kid is going to be a future MVP in the NFL.
Of course, that’s not a surprise to LSU fans. Anyone who saw him up close in Baton Rouge in 2019 knew Burrow was destined to be a future star.
