Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is not lacking in confidence.

The former LSU football standout believes in himself. And he’s not afraid to let folks know it.

That type of confidence can come across as arrogant — but not when it comes from Burrow.

It’s easy to believe Burrow. He’s a likable guy. He’s not out there talking himself up just to hear himself talk. Burrow has a swagger about him that is undeniable. And it’s infectious.

Joe Burrow exuded confidence on Tuesday while previewing playoff matchup with Titans

Burrow spoke with reporters on Tuesday, ahead of the Bengals’ divisional-round matchup with the Tennessee Titans this weekend.

The second-year quarterback was asked about the impact of Cincinnati’s first playoff win in over 30 years.

Burrow was quick to point out that winning playoff games is the new standard for the Bengals.

“I think the fans were very excited, but I tried to downplay it and all that because this is how it’s going to be from here on out,” said Burrow. “It was a great win for us, but this is the standard, the bare minimum every year going forward.”

If you’re a Bengals fan, that has to excite you big time.

There were plenty of folks who believed in Burrow before the 2020 NFL Draft. But there weren’t many people who thought he would turn the Bengals around this quickly.

Cincinnati is a legitimate Super Bowl contender because of Burrow. And they will be for years to come.

That’s the reason he can give off a confident vibe and come across as believable.
