Two former LSU football players had two of the most impressive stats from Saturday’s NFL playoff action.

It shouldn’t be a surprise that I’m talking about Cincinnati Bengals teammates Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase.

Burrow and Chase will be playing in the AFC Championship game next weekend (against the winner of the Kansas City Chiefs/Buffalo Bills game) after the Bengals beat the Tennessee Titans on Saturday night in Nashville.

In the midst of the win, there were two pretty amazing stats about Burrow and Chase that popped out.

Two of the best stats this weekend come from former LSU Football players

The first stat shows just how incredible Burrow is as a quarterback and a leader.

With the win over the Titans, Burrow is now 4-0 in playoff games dating back to the 2019 season at LSU (when the Tigers easily handled Oklahoma and Clemson to claim the College Football Playoff championship).

Burrow isn’t the most physically talented quarterback in the NFL. But he’s a winner. His desire to win is second to none. And he’s proving that by leading the Bengals to their biggest wins in over three decades.

The other impressive stat is Ja’Marr Chase’s performances in two playoff games so far.

On Saturday, Chase became the first NFL rookie in history to have two 100 yard games in the playoffs (via ESPN’s Field Yates).

Burrow and Chase are doing things together that most NFL players will never do.

And their careers are just getting started.

I don’t know if the Bengals will win it all this year. Anything can happen at this point in the playoffs.

But Cincinnati is definitely going to be a Super Bowl contender for years to come thanks to Burrow and Chase.
