LSU Tigers fans looking for a rundown of university sports news need to look no further. We’ve got you covered with the latest and greatest stories out of Baton Rouge. Today, we’re starting the day talking about fashion. Yes, fashion.

The LSU Tigers women’s basketball team moved to 21-0 after beating Tennessee on Monday. 15,157 fans packed the Pete Maravich Assembly Center to watch the Tigers beat the Vols 76-68. However, Kim Mulkey’s outfit overshadowed the record-setting crowd. The LSU head coach sported a pink and white suit and pink boots from the Tigers sideline. Mulkey is known as one of college basketball’s snazzier dressers, but her Monday night suit was super stylish and classy. One can’t help but wonder what Coach Mulkey has in her closet for tonight’s clash with the Georgia Bulldogs. Perhaps, the best Kim Mulkey outfit will debut on February 12, when the Tigers lock horns with top-ranked South Carolina.

LSU Tigers to host significant 2023 transfer player

The LSU Tigers will host offensive line transfer Jakai Clark on an official visit on March 24. Clark is a graduate transfer that departs Miami after starting 39-of-42 games played for the Hurricanes. LSU offensive line coach Brad Davis is working diligently to earn Clark’s commitment. Such would be huge for a roster that needs solidifying the center position ahead of the 2023 season. Junior Charles Turner started at center for the 2022 LSU Tigers. However, Clark has the potential to upgrade the position thus, allowing the versatile Turner to shift back to guard.

Jakai Clark is a former 3-star recruit from the 2018 class. The Georgia native recently completed an official visit to SMU and will head to Missouri and West Virginia in the coming weeks. Either way, Clark must decide his next college team during the 2nd transfer portal window that opens on May 1st.
