LSU Tigers fans are antsy for the start of the 2023 college football season. Thus, news of the next round of SEC Football Media Days is welcomed by Baton Rouge.

The SEC Football Kickoff Media Days will commence July 17-20 at the Grand Hyatt in downtown Nashville, Tennessee. Moreover, fans know what teams will take the podium over the four-day event. Thankfully, LSU Tigers fans will not have to wait long to hear from their favorite football program. Bayou Bengals head coach Brian Kelly leads off SEC Football Media Days on Monday, July 17.

The full SEC Football Media Days schedule is as follows:

Monday, July 17

  • LSU – Brian Kelly
  • Missouri – Eliah Drinkwitz
  • Texas A&M – Jimbo Fisher

Tuesday, July 18

  • Auburn – Hugh Freeze
  • Georgia – Kirby Smart
  • Mississippi State – Zach Arnett
  • Vanderbilt – Clark Lea

Wednesday, July 19

  • Alabama – Nick Saban
  • Arkansas – Sam Pittman
  • Florida – Billy Napier
  • Kentucky – Mark Stoops

Thursday, July 20

  • Ole Miss – Lane Kiffin
  • South Carolina – Shane Beamer
  • Tennessee – Josh Huepel

This year is Nashville’s first as SEC Football Media Days host. Historically, the event commences near the SEC offices in Birmingham. However, Atlanta hosted SEC Football Media Days in 2018 and 2022. And with a solidified location and schedule, the question becomes, what LSU players will Brian Kelly bring with him?

Last year, Kelly brought defensive end BJ Ojulari, linebacker Mike Jones Jr. and wide receiver Jack Bech to the SEC Football Media Days. This year, LSU football fans might anticipate appearances by quarterback Jayden Daniels, linebacker Harold Perkins, and wide receiver Malik Nabers. Then again, Kelly might opt to bring redshirt seniors like running back John Emery Jr. or lineman Charles Turner.  Either way; fans are anxious to hear what the 2023 LSU Tigers have to say.

Last year, Kelly made headlines during SEC Football Media Days by refusing to announce his starting quarterback. Ojulari also revealed the ‘graduating champions’ mantra Kelly brought with him to Baton Rouge.
