The LSU Tigers are top producers of marquee NFL Draft picks. However, some former Bayou Bengals fail to achieve stardom in the league.

The NFL Draft is a couple of weeks away, and another crop of LSU Tigers alums are ready to hear their names announced at the podium. LSU remains one of the best college programs producing top-level NFL talent hence the ‘NFLSU’ acronym. For example, the LSU Tigers have produced 1st or 2nd-round draft picks in 27 of the last 32 NFL Drafts.

Many former LSU star players duplicated or exceeded their college stardom in the NFL. Easy examples are Joe Burrow, Patrick Peterson, and Andrew Whitworth.
