LSU Tigers alumnus Foster Moreau was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma after a physical with the Saints. Yesterday, he received some great news.

Moreau learned his cancer is in stage two, meaning it has spread, but they are optimistic they will be able to get rid of all of it. Amazing news for the former Tiger as he begins his recovery.

The former Raiders tight end is coming off his best season of his young career. He logged 33 catches for 420 yards and two touchdowns in 2022. He entered the free agent market as one of the best tight ends available this offseason.

We learned he was looking to potentially return home to Louisiana as his visit to the Saints led to his diagnosis back in March. With the report yesterday, we learned some new information about the New Orleans native.

It was confirmed that Moreau had agreed to terms with the Saints to return home and reunite with former Raiders QB, Derek Carr. With Moreau expected to make a full recovery, will we see him suit up in the black and gold in the future? Only time will tell.
