LSU baseball: When and where the Tigers will play in the SEC Tournament

The LSU baseball team did not end their regular season positively. However, we now know when and where the Tigers will return to the field next.
The LSU Tigers are the No. 3 seed in the 2023 SEC Baseball Tournament. Many LSU baseball fans are disappointed with anything less than No. 1. Regardless, the Tigers did earn themselves a first-round bye.
LSU will play the winner of No. 6 South Carolina vs. No. 11 Georgia on Wednesday, May 24, at 9:30 a.m. CT. The Gamecocks and Bulldogs open the SEC Tournament on Tuesday, May 23, at 9:30 a.m. All tournament games will be played at Hoover Memorial Stadium in Hoover, Alabama, and air on the SEC Network, except for the final game.
The SEC Baseball Tournament Championship Game will air on ESPN2 on Sunday, May 28 at 2 p.m. The full SEC Tournament bracket is below.

LSU baseball fans understand the Tigers need a solid showing to ensure a June trip to the College World Series Regionals. LSU finished 42-13 but failed to win the regular season conference title after posting an abysmal 19-10 SEC record.
The Tigers are coming off a series win at Georgia but lost their final game of the season 9-5. LSU finished the season ranked No. 5, behind Wake Forest, Arkansas, Stanford, and Florida. The LSU baseball team held the top spot in the AP Top 25 through May 8. Unfortunately, bullpen woes plagued the Bayou Bengals down the stretch.
