I’m sick of the group that constantly hates on LSU’s Angel Reese and her appearance. It’s a remedial cluster of folks with a few things in common.

One of the most aggravating internet trends is the need for some to poke fun at how Angel Reese looks. Unfortunately, haters that relentlessly respond to Reese-related posts with hateful words or images of goofy-looking animals litter social media. It’s a ridiculous dynamic that began not long after Angel Reese led the LSU Tigers to a 2023 Women’s College Basketball National Championship.

I must address a few facts on behalf of LSU Tigers fans. For starters, there’s a commonality among the Facebook and Twitter toads that try (and fail) to poke fun at Angel Reese’s appearance. They’re primarily white males in their early-20s to mid-50s that think they’re patriots. Yes, those types of “patriots.” Not the men and women that serve, but the political extremists who wear red caps and claim January 6th was an inside job.

Angel Reese is HER, and the fake patriots cannot stand it

Suffice it to say; the haters show no respect for minorities, much less double-minority athletes that enjoy the fruits of their labor. Angel Reese is HER, and the fake patriots cannot stand it.

The second fact of my daily LSU-related rant addresses the situation’s irony. There’s irony in that the angry white guys with social media accounts who poke fun at Angel Reese are hideous themselves. Those who do show themselves in their profile photos are typically the bearded types that take selfies wearing seatbelts and sunglasses. Those who do not show their faces are presumably ugly. It’s an assumption I’m comfortable making.

Either way, I’m firing arrows at a group of people that are undeniably ugly on the inside.

The third and most important fact to take from my rant is that Angel Reese is a Goddess. She dominates every room she walks into the same as she dominates the basketball court. Reese looks spectacular in every outfit and all settings. From her Sports Illustrated photo shoot to the White House visit, it’s easy to see why the media cannot get enough of her.

Indeed, the Bayou Barbie is currently one of the hottest athletes in the country. Furthermore, Angel Reese isn’t going away anytime soon. Thus, all the ugly people hating on the LSU forward must prepare themselves. Reese is just getting started.
