The NCAA Baseball Regionals are a double-elimination tournament comprising 16 brackets containing four teams. This year, the 16 brackets are located in Winston-Salem, Gainesville, Fayetteville, Clemson, Baton Rouge, Nashville, Charlottesville, Stanford, Coral Gables, Conway, Stillwater, Lexington, Auburn, Terre Haute, Columbia, and Tuscaloosa.

Teams that lose twice within their bracket are eliminated. As such, only one team from each bracket will move on to the NCAA Baseball Super Regionals. For LSU baseball, moving onto college baseball’s ‘Sweet 16’ requires bracket-mates Tulane, Oregon St., and Sam Houston to lose twice.

LSU baseball traveled to Mississippi as the No. 2 seed in the Hattiesburg bracket of the 2022 NCAA Baseball Regionals. Unfortunately, the Tigers lost two-of-three games against Southern Miss, thus, ending their season. LSU fans are counting on a better result from the men’s baseball team this time. Playing at Alex Box Stadium as the bracket’s top seed is an advantage for LSU baseball.

Next. LSU fans are sick of losing to this weirdo program. dark

The NCAA Baseball Super Regionals are June 9-12, followed by the Men’s College World Series June 16-26.
