The LSU baseball team is a game away from a trip to the College World Series Super Regionals. And we know when and where fans can tune into the action.
The LSU baseball team remains unbeaten in the Baton Rouge Men’s College World Series Regionals tournament. As such, the Tigers are one win away from clinching a spot in the Super Regionals. However, another game against the Oregon State Beavers stands in the way.

We expect a capacity crowd at Alex Box Stadium as the LSU Tigers seek their first Men’s College World Series Regionals title under head coach Jay Johnson. Many LSU baseball fans recall the team’s last trip to the Super Regionals, under Paul Mainieri, in 2021. However, one must not expect Oregon State to go down without a fight.
Oregon State needs a win to avoid elimination and force a final deciding game on Monday. The Beavers are 12-10 on the road but have their backs against the wall.
The LSU Tigers are impressive, 30-7 at home this season, and have run the table in the Baton Rouge Regionals thus far.
On Sunday, a three-hour rain delay impeded the first game between LSU and Oregon State. However, the Tigers rode a Brayden Jobert 8th-inning home run to victory to remain in control of their destiny. Another win over the Beavers sends LSU baseball to the Super Regionals.
Nine teams secured their places in the Super Regionals over the weekend. Wake Forest, Virginia, Indiana State, South Carolina, Alabama, Texas, Tennessee, Oregon, and Oral Roberts moved closer to the 2023 Men’s College World Series.
LSU baseball fans hope the Tigers will join the Super Regionals field on Monday afternoon. Expect LSU to don their gold jerseys from the occasion.
