Believe it or not, LSU football has never played these FBS teams

Who LSU football hasn’t seen from C-USA
Conference USA was on life support after Charlotte, Florida Atlantic, North Texas, Rice, and Alabama-Birmingham departed for the American Athletic Conference. However, C-USA is now surviving after luring Liberty, New Mexico State, Sam Houston, and Jacksonville State. As a result, the list of FBS teams from C-USA has grown, as has the list of C-USA teams that haven’t experienced LSU football.
Florida International Panthers: When I think of FIU, I think of the Mario Cristobal era. Cristobal had the Panthers bowling in a couple of seasons but was fired after finishing 3-9 in 2012. But, of course, Cristobal put his coaching career back on track as an assistant and eventually moved into his current head coaching role at Oregon.
Liberty Flames: Liberty moves from FBS independent to C-USA in 2023. The Flames are one of college football’s youngest programs but enjoy a private school budget and marquee head coaches. Hugh Freeze turned a corner with Liberty after Turner Gill led the program to FBS. But, of course, Freeze departed the Christian university for Auburn. In response, the Liberty brass opened the checkbook and lured Jamey Chadwell from Coastal Carolina.
