No. 13 – Brady Cook

Year: Junior

Team: Missouri Tigers

2022 Passing Stats: 248 completions, 2,739 yards, 14 touchdowns

Brady Cook held off Sam Horn in the battle for Missouri’s starting quarterback job. Well, sort’ve. Tigers head coach Eli Drinkwitz recently admitted his plans to play both quarterbacks throughout the season.

Playing both quarterbacks indicates a trust in Cook but a preference for Horn’s abilities.

Cook led Mizzou to a bowl game after starting all games last season. His numbers are decent, but he often flailed on third downs and when pressured. Nevertheless, Drinkwitz has recognized Cook for outstanding leadership. The Tigers also voted him as a team captain.
