LSU Football enters 2023 with lofty expectations because of several star players. However, there’s a few Tigers that we think people are sleeping on.

Every season, it seems the most successful college football teams are fueled by performances from players most didn’t see coming.

For example, Will Campbell was a sleeper player for the Tigers in 2022. Campbell was a four-star recruit from Monroe (La.) who brought much talent to Baton Rouge. However, few LSU Football fans expected him to win the starting left tackle role out of fall camp and emerge as a vital player throughout the 2022 season.

Receiver Malik Nabers was another sleeper player for LSU last season. Most of us expected Kayshon Boutte to lead the Tigers in receiving. But is was Nabers that caught 72 passes for 1,017 yards, during which quarterback Jayden Daniels was hesitant to the throw deep ball. Nabers is another talented from Louisiana, but he put up a fraction of the before emerging last season.

There are several options for sleeping players on the LSU Football roster. Regardless, we circled the three that we believe will make the most significant impact in Baton Rouge.

Our list begins with a versatile defender that Brian Kelly cannot get enough of on the field.
