Will Campbell

Position: Left Tackle

Class: Sophomore

Offense Grade: 73.7 (55th of 601 OT)

Pass Block: 71.4 (190th of 523 OT)

Run Block: 73.6 (35th of 529 OT)

The best LSU Football offensive lineman is on pace to finish 2023 head of his 75.4 grade from a year ago.

The current No. 7 jersey (sort of) wearer was excellent against Arkansas in Week 4 after being pulled early against Mississippi State for accumulating too many penalties. We anticipate Campbell’s grades will encroach the mid-70s within the next couple of games.

Fans must keep in mind that the cornerstone tackle started the season rough against Florida State. We can say the same about his counterpart on the other side of the offensive line.

Emery Jones

Position: Right Tackle

Class: Sophomore

Offense Grade: 72.8 (62nd of 601 OT)

Pass Block: 76.9 (98th of 523 OT)

Run Block: 67.7 (98th of 529 OT)

Emery Jones is playing outstanding especially in pass protection. The sophomore offensive tackle has also played some reps at right guard because LSU is developing freshman Lance Heard.

Jones also moved to left tackle after Brian Kelly pulled Campbell out of the Week 3 game in Starkville.

Jones emerged as a vital protector for LSU Football last season. However, his 57.7 (88th of 610) offensive grade from 2022 left much to be desired.
