Last season, Jayden Daniels was heroic for the LSU Tigers and led them to a 32-31 win over Alabama. Now, Daniels is looking to become the first starting quarterback to ever knock off Alabama in back-to-back seasons during Nick Saban’s tenure in Tuscaloosa.
Daniels not only threw for 182 yards and two touchdowns on 22/32 passing, but he also ran for 95 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries. He outdueled Bryce Young, the eventual No. 1 overall pick in the NFL draft and if he can get the best of this year’s Alabama quarterback, Jalen Milroe, and the Crimson Tide, it could be Daniels’ Heisman moment.
With Alabama atop the SEC West standings at 5-0 in conference play and LSU and Ole Miss right behind, each at 4-1, this game is the Tigers’ last chance to play themselves into the SEC Championship.
With the state of LSU’s defense, Daniels will need to be great, even better than last season, so let’s dig into some predictions for his stat line and the player prop over/unders.
