5 Biggest Winners and Losers of Week 13: Alabama, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M all crash

This weekend, everywhere you looked there were students storming the field celebrating massive upsets. Just as we thought the College Football Playoff field was becoming even clearer we saw several top 25 teams and playoff contender lose head scratching games to unranked opponents. We now head into the final week of the regular season and few things are truly known about the Playoff field. After a wild week 13, five teams stand out as the biggest winners and losers in College Football.

Winner: Tennessee Volunteers

It wasn't the Volunteers 56-0 win over the UTEP Miners that earned them a place among the winners this weekend. The Volunteers got some of the help they were looking for this week after being named the first team out in the College Football Playoff race. The Indiana Hoosiers got handled by Ohio State, Ole Miss killed its Playoff Hopes losing to Florida, Alabama got crushed by Oklahoma, and Texas A&M lost to Auburn. All that's standing in Tennessee's way is a game against Vanderbilt as they won't make the SEC Championship Game.

Loser: Indiana Hoosiers Cinderella Story

The Indiana Hoosiers came into the weekend with a chance to silence everyone that said they took advantage of a weaker schedule. The Hoosiers started off strong forcing a three and out and scoring on their opening drive of the game. The clock then struck midnight and Indiana turned into a pumpkin, as the game became all Buckeyes.

The Hoosiers offense couldn't move the ball again until the final drive of the game while their special teams allowed the Buckeyes to score twice. Indiana is going to be a fascinating team to watch in the College Football Playoff Rankings as they lost their first real test of the season, and it wasn't really close. The good news for Indiana is that all of the upsets in the SEC likely keep the Hoosiers right in the Playoff mix.
