This weekend is by far the biggest game of the LSU Football team's season as they host the Ole Miss Rebels. If LSU is going to make the College Football Playoff, it starts with picking up a massive win over Ole Miss.

The Ole Miss Rebels are a strong team headlined by an explosive offense led by Jaxson Dart. The key to winning this game is taking away Ole Miss' explosive plays on offense while also protecting Garrett Nussmeier so he can pick apart a shaky secondary. For the LSU Football team, if they're going to win this game, they'll need massive performances from these five players.

Ashton Stamps and Zy Alexander - Cornerbacks

Last year when LSU lost to Ole Miss, Tre Harris torched the LSU secondary for eight catches for 153 yards and a touchdown. This offseason, the Rebels added Juice Wells from South Carolina who can beat any secondary deep.

Now Tre Harris is on the injury report after leaving the South Carolina game and is questionable to play. Lane Kiffin will keep it close to the chest but, its likely that Tre Harris suits up to at least make LSU account for him.

If LSU is going to slow this Ole Miss offense, it starts with taking away their big play ability. Ashton Stamps and Zy Alexander have played some solid games this season but, they haven't faced a receiving duo as talented as Ole Miss'.

Against USC, Ashton Stamps stepped up with a solid game and against South Carolina Zy Alexander was great but, to beat Ole Miss, both players will need to be on the top of their game.
