As the NFL Season continues to wrap up with the Playoffs underway, teams focus starts to shift toward this offseason. As the offseason continues to near NFL teams are looking to fill the biggest holes in their rosters to retool in their strive for Super Bowls. The best way to build a team is through the NFL Draft and one prospect that raised their draft stock the most was Bradyn Swinson.

After recording just two sacks in 2023, Bradyn Swinson exploded in 2024 recording 8.5 sacks and likely turned himself into a Day Two pick in the NFL Draft. As draft season approaches, here are five potential landing spots for Bradyn Swinson.

Baltimore Ravens

Every offseason, the Baltimore Ravens land an instant impact player in the trenches and Bradyn Swinson could be that piece this year. The Ravens finished 2nd in the NFL this season with 54 sacks with the majority coming from outside linebackers. If the Ravens add a defensive end Bradyn Swinson would make a ton of sense as the Ravens mostly use them in pass rushing situations.

Atlanta Falcons

Despite trading for edge rusher Matthew Judon this offseason, the Falcons finished 31st in the NFL in sacks with just 31 sacks. The Falcons have to address their defense this offseason and it should start with getting after the Quarterback. Bradyn Swinson showed that he could get after the Quarterback this season but, he was also effective when he was asked to drop into coverage which should make him an appealing player in the NFL.

Cincinnati Bengals

This season, defense and kicking kept an incredible Bengals offense from making its way into the Playoffs. Trey Hendrickson led the way on defense with 17.5 sacks but after that the next closest defender had 5 sacks. The easiest way to mask the Bengals struggles in the secondary would be adding players who can speed up the opposing quarterbacks. Given that Sam Hubbard may be a cap casualty, adding Bradyn Swinson opposite Hendrickson would be a great addition for the Bengals.

New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints need a total influx of young talent after another disappointing year with a veteran core and salary cap issues. One of the areas that needs an infusion of young talent is at edge rusher as the team finished in the bottom half of the league in sacks. Chase Young will be a Free Agent this offseason and the team has a potential out in Carl Granderson while Cam Jordan continues to age. Bradyn Swinson could join young pieces on the defensive line like Bryan Breese and Payton Turner.

Detroit Lions

This season the Detroit Lions were dominant in several areas but, their lone weakness was on the defensive line as the Lions finished in the bottom half of the league in sacks. Part of that issue is the injuries the team suffered, Aidan Hutchinson led the team in sacks playing 5 games and Za'Darius Smith finished second playing 8 games while their backups never could fully replace them. Adding Swinson wouldn't only serve as injury insurance but, it'd also give the Lions a potential key piece on the defensive line going forward.
