In the last week, LSU has seen two committed players in the 2026 class flip their commitments away from the Tigers. First, five-star No. 1 WR Tristen Keys flipped his commitment from LSU to Tennessee. Then, four-star OT recruit Emanuel Tucker flipped his commitment from LSU to Ole Miss. Those are two noteworthy losses for Brian Kelly and his staff.

Just a few weeks ago, both Keys and Tucker seemed firmly committed to LSU. Last week, Tucker even told Rivals' Steve Wiltfong that "LSU is my school and that’s final." Now, both recruits have changed their minds and will not be playing college football in Baton Rouge.

One player in the 2026 class who remains committed to LSU is five-star DL Lamar Brown. On Friday, Brown took to X (formerly Twitter) to send a strong message to players flipping their commitments away from LSU. The post was sent shortly after Tucker's flip to Ole Miss was announced.

Brown's message is clear: If you're not with us, you're against us. This is the type of energy that Tiger fans love to see. Brown remaining steadfast in his commitment to LSU is huge for the Tigers, and his public message on Friday has other commits joining in as well. Four-star OL commit Jalan Chapman also took to social media following Tucker's flip.

Brown is a local product hailing from University Lab in Baton Rouge. He is the No. 1-ranked player in Louisiana and the fifth-ranked player in the country by 247Sports. The 6-foot-4, 285 pound defensive lineman chose LSU over other offers from Texas, Texas A&M, and Miami (FL).

As it stands, LSU currently has the 11th-ranked 2026 recruiting class according to 247Sports. The class has 16 commits that features two five-stars. Brown is one of them, and the other is EDGE Trenton Henderson.
