The LSU Football program is currently hosting a massive class of recruits on campus to kick off official visit season. Heading into the Summer, LSU only trails USC in the recruiting class rankings with the goal of regaining the top ranking as LSU builds out this class. While the focus this weekend was adding to this recruiting class for the Tiger, the biggest story may be LSU’s commits that are visiting elsewhere.
Wide receiver commit Kenny Darby took an official visit to Alabama and leaving the visit has decided that he’ll make a final decision between LSU and Alabama on July 4th. The Crown Jewel of LSU’s recruiting class 5-star wide receiver Tristen Keys took his official visit to Miami which was always going to be a concern.
Keys will take official visits to several schools but, the visit to Miami was going to be the biggest concern for the Tigers. Leaving his visit to Miami, LSU fans won’t feel any easier about Keys’ recruitment.
Tristen Keys shares concerning quote after Miami official visit
Leaving his official visit to Miami, it appears that Tristen Keys may not be fully sold on LSU.
VIP: Hattiesburg (Miss.) 5-star WR Tristen Keys is strongly considering Miami coming out of his official visit with the Hurricanes. Three more schools will get official visits.

While LSU always knew that Keys would take his planned official visits, the Tigers now have to feel more concerned that it sounds like a decision still needs to be made.
When Tristen Keys committed to LSU it came as a shock not that he committed to LSU because of the deep history developing wide receivers but, based on the timing. Miami and several other schools were seen as ahead of LSU in the recruitment which made it a massive storyline to follow going forward.
This weekend, LSU hosted several elite wide receiver recruits on campus for official visits which only becomes more important. As Kenny Darby and Tristen Keys are still considering schools, the Tigers staying in the race for other schools will become key incase a receiver does flip.
